Manolo Blahnik Launching a new flagship in Geneva

The task

In May 2018, Manolo Blahnik launched a new store in Geneva, extending the footwear designer’s retail presence to Switzerland. JK&K was in charge of driving awareness and buzz of the new Rue de la Corraterie boutique, among both a local Swiss and a transient international luxury audience.

The vision

The campaign included print advertising in select fashion and news titles, and trams within the city centre – both showcasing the illustrations by Manolo Blahnik that are a trademark of the brand’s communication – alongside geo-targeted/proximity paid social media.

The result

This was a highly visible and distinctive campaign, with the geo-targeted social media ring-fencing the area and driving the targeted audience to the store locator (doubling expected benchmarks for the format).
